Doubts About Raphinha's Participation Against Atletico Madrid
The Brazilian Raphinha continues to miss Barcelona's first team training sessions in preparation for the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final against Atletico Madrid, scheduled for Thursday, February 12, at 10 PM Cairo time, according to the Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo'.
Raphinha has been undergoing individual training sessions aimed at recovery and returning to match participation as soon as possible, whether in the semi-final first leg against Atletico Madrid or in the following match against Girona on Monday, February 16.
Raphinha's absence comes after suffering an injury to the inner thigh muscle of his right leg, which forced him to leave the Barcelona match against Elche in the league on Saturday, January 31, as a precautionary measure, according to the club's diagnosis which set a recovery period of one week.
Coach Hans Flick is also monitoring the condition of player Frenkie de Jong, indicating that the latter is not 100% ready for the upcoming matches.
