Karim Fouad, the Al Ahly star, confirmed that his team is aiming to win in the final round of the group stage of the CAF Champions League to qualify for the quarter-finals as the top of the group.

Al-Ahly secured qualification for the quarter-finals yesterday, Saturday, after drawing with JS Kabylie in the fifth round of the tournament.

Karim Fouad stated to the Al Ahly club's website that the team achieved its goal of qualifying, but there remains one last important step in the group stage. He noted that the team aims to secure a victory in the final round of the group stage against the Royal Army to qualify as the group's leader.

Fuad said that Al-Ahly coach Torop spoke with the players before the match, urging them to remain calm. He also spoke with him personally, asking him to deliver his usual performance with the team.
