Regarding the match lineup, Guardiola said: "I have an idea, but I haven't decided on the final lineup yet, I will monitor the players' performance and make some adjustments for all major matches, not just the Anfield match, it's not just about skills, but how the player handles the field, professionalism, and behavior, and that's what distinguishes good players."

Regarding criticisms about his statements on global situations, he confirmed: "I didn't say anything special, I talked about the many conflicts in the world and condemned the killing of innocents, I don't compare countries, my message is clear, and I don't understand why I am asked to remain silent just because I am a football coach."

Regarding Haaland: "Erling Haaland is the best striker in the world, will he play? I don't know yet, we will decide tomorrow, I always say, Erling is the best."

About the League Cup: "All respect to this tournament, but it's not the Champions League, with all due respect, it is an important tournament."

He also talked about the team's future and current level: "We are going through great moments but lack enough stability at the highest levels, we are better than last season, we are still competing in all tournaments, and we will see what happens in the end."

Regarding his future with the club, he explained: "I have a contract for another year, I will stay until the end of the 2026/2027 season, this is the same answer I gave two months ago."
