This idea was conveyed to his agent, Jorge Mendes, despite no official offer being made at that time.

The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" explained that the arrival of Joao Cancelo during the winter transfer window significantly altered the technical staff's plans. The Portuguese international succeeded in establishing himself as a primary option at left-back in major matches, which impacted Balde's participation and led to a diminished role within the team.

In this situation, the player's future has become more open to various possibilities, especially with interest from several prominent clubs in the English Premier League. Manchester United, Manchester City, and Aston Villa are among the clubs interested in signing him, according to the Spanish newspaper.

Despite the growing interest in his services, Balde remains committed to the idea of continuing with Barcelona, and his agent Jorge Mendes shares the same stance. The player believes he can regain his position and play a significant role in the club's project in the coming years.

On the other hand, Barcelona is keen on retaining Cancelo in their ranks and does not rule out signing a more experienced left-back like Marc Cucurella. Gerard Martin also remains among the available options, although coach Hans Flick now views him more as a central defender than a left-back.
