Al Ahly Awaits the Status of Its Quartet Before Facing National Bank
A press report today revealed the fate of the participation of four players from Al Ahly's first football team, namely Ahmed Mostafa "Zizo," Hadi Riad, Yasser Ibrahim, and the Angolan Yelson Kamwish, in the match against Al Ahly Bank scheduled for tomorrow evening, as part of the seventh round of the Egyptian League championship.
According to the "Yalla Kora" website, the two new arrivals, Hadi Riad and Wilson Kamouish, participated in Al Ahly's training yesterday, while the decision on their participation in the match remains in the hands of Danish coach Jes Thorup. It is noted that Al Ahly signed Hadi Riad from Petrojet for 35 million Egyptian pounds with a contract extending for three and a half years, while Kamouish was loaned from Norway's Tromsø for 500,000 dollars.
The report indicated that the duo Ahmed Mostafa Zizo and Yasser Ibrahim will undergo a medical test after today's training to determine their availability for the Al Ahly Bank match.
The club doctor announced that Yasser Ibrahim is suffering from a strain in the hamstring, and Zizo from a calf strain, following the team's match against Tanzania's Young Africans, which ended in a 1-1 draw in the fourth round of the African Champions League.
