Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that West Ham United midfielder, Argentine Guido Rodríguez, is close to moving to Spanish club Valencia in the coming period.

According to the same source, the deal will be completed for free, after the player reached an agreement with West Ham's management to terminate his contract by mutual consent, without Valencia having to pay any financial compensation.

This move comes in light of Rodríguez's desire, the former Real Betis star, to embark on a new experience and gain more playing time, after failing to establish himself as a regular starter with West Ham in the Premier League.

The player is expected to complete the official procedures in the coming days, paving the way for the official announcement of the deal by Valencia, according to Fabrizio Romano.
