After derby crisis, Real Madrid regains its shine in October

Real Madrid have turned October into one of their best periods this season, having achieved five consecutive victories, including a win over Barcelona in the Clasico.

Real Madrid entered the recent international break amid a crisis following their 2-1 loss to Atlético, with their poor performance sparking fan discontent. They now trail Barcelona by six points.

The turning point began with a win over Villarreal, with a score of one goal to nil, despite Vinicius Junior's red card and four-match suspension. Then came the victory over Roma with a score of 4-3 in the Champions League, marking a turning point in the team's performance, after José Mourinho found the right formula to deploy Valverde in the right-back position instead of in central midfield.

After reshuffling the team, Real Madrid achieved two big victories, winning 4-1 against Sevilla and Leipzig, before overcoming Barcelona in the Clasico. This success completed a five-match winning streak and saw them reach their best form of the season.

Real Madrid finished their October matches with perfect results, revitalizing their squad after doubts surrounded their performance a few weeks ago, making them more stable in terms of results.

Real Madrid are looking to continue their run and achieve three more consecutive victories before the upcoming international break, as they face Racing Santander, AEK Athens, and Valencia away.
