Hossam Hassan, the head coach of the Egyptian national team, affirmed that he is satisfied with the Pharaohs' performance in the Africa Cup of Nations despite not winning the title.

The Egyptian national team will face Nigeria tomorrow, Saturday, in the third-place playoff match of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Hossam Hassan said in the press conference before the match: "Thank God for our efforts. The players worked hard, and we reached the semifinals. We hoped to qualify for the final, but we were not successful."

He confirmed that the only downside during their participation in the tournament was the injury of Mohamed Hamdy, the star of the Egyptian national team.

Hossam Hassan pointed out that reaching the semifinals of the Africa Cup of Nations is a good result, and he also made sure to implement several playing styles, but the team was affected by fatigue during the tournament.
