Australian Player: Excited to Face Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush
Lucas Herrington, a player for the Australian national team, spoke about the upcoming match for his team against Egypt in the Round of 32 at the World Cup.
The Egyptian national team, led by Hossam Hassan, will face the Australian team in the round of 32 of the World Cup on Friday, July 3rd, at 9 PM Cairo and Mecca time.
Herrington said in statements reported by the Australian newspaper 7news: "I knew how important the World Cup was not just for us but for the entire country. Obviously, I was aware of the pressure that existed in that tournament, and I knew there was pressure on all of us, so I was looking forward to it. Clearly, I had been dreaming of that moment since I was a child, and I really wanted to enjoy it and live it."
Herrington added: "It's great to face players like Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush in reality. This is where you want to be, these are the players you want to face. So, getting this opportunity, I hope it will be special, and I am very excited."
