French Club Enters Race to Sign Shobier
Press reports have revealed that the French club Troyes has entered the race to sign Mostafa Shobeir, the goalkeeper of Al Ahly and the Egyptian national team, following the player's impressive performances recently.
The "AfricaFoot" website reported that the French club sent an initial offer of 450,000 euros to sign Shobeir.
The report confirmed that Al Ahly does not object to the player's departure if a suitable financial offer is received, as the Red Club does not wish to release the player for less than 1.5 million dollars.
The report indicated that several other Spanish clubs are seeking to sign Shobeir during the summer transfer window, after observing him in the Pharaohs' friendly match against the Spanish national team before the World Cup.
Among the clubs interested in signing the Al-Ahly goalkeeper are Sevilla, Girona, Deportivo Alavés, and Osasuna.
