Al Hilal Club's management has initiated urgent moves by entering into negotiations with three players, aiming to compensate for the departure of the Portuguese João Cancelo during the current winter transfer window.

This step came in response to a direct request from the Italian Simone Inzaghi, who called for strengthening the full-back position before the team continues its journey in domestic competitions.

Saud Abdulhamid, the Roma player, tops Al Hilal's list of winter signings, as he enjoys the admiration of Inzaghi, who sees him as the ideal choice for the upcoming phase.

Al Hilal considers Mohammed Abu Al-Shamat, a player from Al-Qadisiyah, as an alternative backup option in case the first deal falls through, while Mohammed Mehrzi, a player from Al-Taawoun, appears as a third option on the table.

On the other hand, Al-Qadsiah's management expressed their determination to keep Mohammed Abu Al-Shamat, rejecting the idea of his departure during the winter transfer window, despite the wishes of coach Brendan Rodgers.

João Cancelo officially left Al Hilal for Barcelona on a six-month loan, following Inzaghi's decision not to register him in the domestic squad for the second half of the season.
