Ben White: The second half was not up to the required level, but happy to secure the win

After Arsenal's victory over Chelsea in the first leg of the English League Cup semi-final, the team's defender Ben White spoke about the match and the team's performance.

Ben White said: "We did not play well in the second half and allowed them to put more pressure on us, and that’s how we conceded the goals. Honestly, this is not the level we aspire to. The second half was somewhat disappointing, but we managed to win in the end."

He added about his goal: "I was free and managed to move into the right space."

He continued his statements about his assist to his teammate Victor Guoikers: "I knew he would be waiting for the ball inside the box, and honestly, I didn’t look much, I just sent the cross."

Ben White concluded his talk by emphasizing the importance of the win: "The result gives us the advantage before the second leg, but we have to deliver a good performance in the next match to ensure qualification."
