Senegal's coach, Pape Thiaw, confirmed that his team is aiming to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations final despite the strength of the Egyptian team.
The Egyptian national team will face the Senegalese national team tomorrow, Wednesday, in the Africa Cup of Nations semifinal.
Baba Thiao said at the pre-match press conference: "The Egyptian team plays excellently and knows how to defend, but we play in a balanced way and hope to show our best performance in the match."
He added: "Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush are two great and outstanding players, but we are facing the entire Egyptian national team. With all due respect to them, we are determined to advance and secure a spot in the final."
He concluded: "I do not follow social media and have not seen what the players did, but we certainly have great respect for the Egyptian national team."
