Hossam Hassan Prepares the Pharaohs for Belgium Clash with Intensive Sessions

The coaching staff of the Egyptian national team, led by Hossam Hassan, is intensifying motivational and technical sessions with the players in the camp in preparation for the upcoming match against Belgium.

The Egyptian national team will face the Belgian national team next Monday in the opening match of Group G in the 2026 World Cup.

According to the "Al-Ahram" portal, Hossam Hassan intensified his individual and group meetings with the Egyptian national team players to prepare them mentally and physically for the World Cup. He emphasized to them that representing the nation is a great honor and urged them to deliver a strong performance worthy of the fans' expectations and the history of the Pharaohs.

The portal added that the preparations extended to include technical lectures via video, during which the coaching staff reviewed the strengths and weaknesses of the Belgian team, in addition to defining the roles required from each player to ensure tactical discipline on the field.

Hossam Hassan sent a message to the experienced players, led by Mohamed Salah and the professionals, urging them to share their experiences with the young players. He emphasized the importance of focusing and avoiding defensive mistakes against the Belgian attack.

The Egyptian national team is in Group G alongside the teams of Belgium, Iran, and New Zealand.

The match between Egypt and Belgium will kick off at 10:00 PM Cairo and Mecca time.
