Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that 29-year-old Spanish midfielder Fabian Ruiz is about to sign a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain.

Romano confirmed via his official account on the X platform that the Spanish star is preparing to renew his contract with the Parisian club until the summer of 2029, while the final details are still being arranged.

Romano pointed out that the agreement between Ruiz and PSG has reached its final stages despite interest from Turkish clubs in signing him, noting that Ruiz's current contract with the team expires in the summer of 2027.

It is worth mentioning that Fabian Ruiz joined Paris Saint-Germain from Napoli in the summer of 2022 for 22 million euros, and has so far played 155 matches with the French club, scoring 16 goals and providing 24 assists.
