Sports journalist Ahmed Hassan revealed the position of Al Ahly regarding the departure of Omar Kamal Abdel Wahid, the team's star player.
Hassan said on Facebook: "Exclusive... Al Ahly insists on keeping Omar Kamal Abdel Wahid, or signing a new right-back, if Al Ahly wishes to transfer him."
Al Ahly is currently preparing to face Tala'ea El Gaish next Thursday in the seventh round of the Egypt Cup.
The match between Al Ahly and Tala'ea El Gaish will kick off at 5:00 PM Cairo time and 6:00 PM Mecca time.
