Nice club is going through a difficult period this season, after dropping to the thirteenth place in the French league standings, amid disappointing results and increasing pressure within the club's corridors. According to what was revealed by the "Foot Mercato" website, the management has started to take action to make changes at the team level, with expectations of several players leaving during the winter transfer window.

The club has already undergone radical adjustments at the administrative and technical levels, as the contract with coach Franck Haise was mutually terminated after a month of serious incidents with the fans, before Claude Puel returned to take over the technical leadership, alongside Fabrice Bouquet's resignation and Jean-Pierre Rivère's return to the club presidency alongside Maurice Cohen.

At the squad level, the same source reported that midfielders Morgan Sanson and Tom Luchietti are close to leaving this winter, due to their reduced roles within the team, as Sanson suffers from limited playing minutes, while Luchietti has not delivered the expected performance during the first half of the season.

The report also indicated that Jonathan Clauss's future is also uncertain, after his performance declined following the failure of his transfer to Bayer Leverkusen during the last summer transfer window, prompting Nice's management to seek a suitable solution for his situation in the near future.
