Barcelona achieves a historic year under Flick's leadership

FC Barcelona concluded the year 2025 with an exceptional performance in terms of results and titles, having won three domestic trophies: the Spanish League, the King's Cup, and the Spanish Super Cup, all during the past season.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," Barcelona, under the leadership of coach Hans Flick, played 60 matches across various competitions in 2025, achieving 48 wins, 6 draws, and only 6 losses.

The newspaper pointed out that Barcelona finished the year 2025 at the top of the La Liga standings, four points ahead of Real Madrid. They also secured the winter champion title after their victory over Villarreal at the La Cerámica stadium.

The newspaper added that the Catalan team was close to reaching the UEFA Champions League final, but was eliminated in the semifinals after losing to Inter Milan.

On the scoring front, the newspaper highlighted that Barcelona scored 169 goals during their 60 matches in 2025, mainly distributed among Robert Lewandowski with 42 goals, Raphinha with 35 goals, Ferran Torres with 29 goals, and Lamine Yamal with 25 goals.

According to the newspaper, 2025 is considered the fifth highest-scoring year in Barcelona's history, with the team reaching the milestone of 100 goals in La Liga during this period, approaching the record set by Barcelona in 2018.
