The head coach of Barcelona, Hans Flick, spoke at the press conference ahead of his team's match against Valencia at the conclusion of the Spanish league, emphasizing the team's desire to finish the season with a victory, despite having already secured the La Liga title.

During the press conference covered by the media, Flick discussed several issues concerning the team, including the players' condition, plans for the next season, and the status of certain elements within the lineup.

Flick said in his statements: "We are optimistic, but we have to give our best. This is the last match of the season, and we want to finish it well. The season has been long, and we have given a lot, and now we are focusing on ending it positively."

The German coach added: "Losing Fermín López is tough because he had a great season. He was supposed to participate in a major tournament with the Spanish national team, and this is painful for him and for us. But we support him, and we will see him come back stronger."

Flick continued regarding Kounde: "Kounde had a minor issue, and we are taking care of him. He is ready to participate in the World Cup, and we are continuously monitoring him. We expect his condition to improve."

Regarding the future of Ferran Torres, he said: "We are not discussing his future now, he has a year left on his contract and there is enough time. We will discuss it later. What I see is that he has done a good job recently and has been positive in his performance and behavior."

Flick also commented on the team's overall situation, saying: "No other player has told me they will leave, except for Lewandowski. We are calmly working on planning for the next season and considering all available options."

Regarding the reliance on players from La Masia Academy, he explained: "We are planning for the pre-season, and we will see which players from La Masia we will include with us. This has already happened during this season, and it may be repeated in the next season."

Regarding his tenure of ten years at Barcelona like Guardiola with City, he said: "Ten years here? I don't think so, it wouldn't be good for me to stay here. Pep is an exceptional coach, ten years at this level, Pep is the best coach in the world. He has proven that year after year, even when things weren't going well, he knew how to manage the situation, always finding a solution to improve, and this is evident in the titles he has won. He is an exceptional coach, I wish him a good rest, but I hope he returns because he is still young."

Flick emphasized Barcelona's ambition in the upcoming period, saying: "We are 100% committed to winning titles. We want to work hard for the Champions League, and that is our goal in the next phase."
