Marcus Rashford expressed his great gratitude to everyone who supported him during the difficult period he went through, after being called up to England's World Cup squad.
The current Barcelona forward posted a message on his Instagram account saying: “Thank you to Unai Emery, Hansi Flick, Thomas Tuchel, Aston Villa, Barcelona, and the England national team for believing in me when things were not going well.”
Rashford's words come after a period of decline in his performance and being out of Manchester United's plans, before recently regaining some of his form and getting a new opportunity with the English national team under Tuchel's leadership.
It seems that the English forward wanted to send a clear message of appreciation to everyone who supported him professionally and psychologically during the toughest stages of his career, affirming that the confidence he received was the key to his comeback.
