Al-Ittihad Decides to Recall Haji and Farha from Al-Riyadh to Strengthen the Squad in Winter
The technical committee of Al-Ittihad Club has decided to recall the team's two loaned players, Talal Haji and Farha Al-Shamrani, during the upcoming winter transfer window starting in early January, as part of the club's efforts to strengthen its squad for the second half of the season.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" reported that the technical committee is planning to terminate the loans of the two players currently at Al-Riyadh Club, in preparation for their return to Al-Ittihad at the start of the winter transfer window, in order to benefit from their technical abilities.
The newspaper explained that the loan contracts of Talal Haji and Farha Al-Shamrani include a clause allowing their return to Al-Ittihad in January, should the Jeddah club wish to do so, which prompted the management to make the decision official.
This approach comes amid the club's desire to strengthen its ranks with young players in the upcoming phase. Talal Haji, who is 18 years old, has participated in 4 matches with Al-Riyadh in the Saudi Roshn League, totaling 176 minutes of play. Meanwhile, Farhah Al-Shamrani appeared for only 12 minutes in his team's loss to Al-Fateh in the Round of 16 of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup.
