Free Medical Offer to Accelerate Yazan Al-Naimat's Return Before the 2026 World Cup
The Jordan Football Association received a surprising offer to accelerate the return of striker Yazan Al-Naimat to the fields, in preparation for his potential participation in the 2026 World Cup.
Al-Naimat had suffered an anterior cruciate ligament tear during Jordan's match against Iraq in the Arab Cup, raising concerns about his participation in the upcoming qualifiers.
Jordanian doctor Reda Khatatneh, a specialist in orthopedic surgery, joints, and regenerative medicine, stated that he is ready to perform stem cell treatment for the player entirely at his own expense. Khatatneh added that this procedure is usually applied about eight weeks after the ACL reconstruction surgery.
This procedure aims to accelerate the healing process, reduce pain and swelling after surgery, improve the quality of the knee and surrounding tissues, and help the player endure an intensive rehabilitation program, thereby increasing his readiness for a safe return to the field.
Khatatneh confirmed that the offer is completely free, noting that the Jordan Football Association is not required to any financial or administrative obligations. He pointed out that supporting players today is supporting all of Jordan, calling on anyone who can deliver this offer to the association or the national team's medical staff to help spread it.
Al-Naimat is currently undergoing further detailed examinations at the Aspetar Center in Doha, as the final treatment plan is awaited, after initial tests confirmed his ACL tear, which threatens his participation in the 2026 World Cup.
