The club issued an official statement on its social media accounts saying: "The first team's goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczęsny, is a last-minute absence from today's match against Osasuna due to gastroenteritis."
Barcelona's match squad included the trio of Marc-André ter Stegen, Juan García, and Koushin in the goalkeeper positions.
It is worth mentioning that Szczęsny has played 9 matches for Barcelona this season, totaling 810 minutes, and has conceded 17 goals, before suffering an injury that will prevent him from participating in the upcoming match.
