Hamed Hamdan Comments on Al Ahly Negotiation Rumors: My Focus Is Now on Palestine
Palestinian midfielder Hamed Hamdan, who plays for Petrojet, commented on the rumors about Al Ahly entering negotiations to sign him during the upcoming winter transfer window, following his impressive performance in the Arab Cup.
Hamdan said in statements to "On Sport FM" radio, in response to rumors about Al-Ahly's interest in signing him: "I don't know anything about these negotiations, and after the Arab Cup tournament ends, I will think about my personal future," emphasizing that his current focus is entirely on the Palestinian national team's journey in the tournament.
The Petrojet player added, "There is something more important than me and my future, which is trying to bring happiness to the great Palestinian people who support and back us in the Arab Cup," pointing out that the players feel a great responsibility towards their fans.
Hamdan participated in Palestine's goalless draw against Syria in the group stage match between the two teams, ensuring that both teams qualified together for the quarterfinals of the tournament currently being held in Qatar, which will continue until December 18.
Hamed Hamdan has delivered outstanding performances with the Palestine national team during the Arab Cup, sparking speculation about his future, especially amid rumors that Egypt's two football giants, Al Ahly and Zamalek, are interested in securing his services in the near future.
