Al Ahly Begins Steps for Achraf Dari's Departure in Winter
Al Ahly club officials have decided to let Moroccan defender Achraf Dari leave during the upcoming winter transfer window, following a series of injuries that have kept him from participating regularly since joining the team at the start of this season.
According to what was published by Youm7 newspaper, Al Ahly's management has started marketing the player in four different leagues: the French, Belgian, Moroccan, and Qatari leagues, in an attempt to find a suitable offer that would allow them to offload the player during the winter transfer window.
Ashraf Dari returns to Al Ahly's squad for the match against Morocco's FAR Rabat tomorrow, Friday, in the second round of the group stage of the CAF Champions League, marking his first appearance since suffering a serious injury at the end of last August.
Dari joined Al Ahly in the summer of 2024, coming from Brest in France for two million dollars on a four-year contract. However, recurring injuries have led the management to consider his departure, with plans to sign a local defender and a foreign defender to strengthen the backline in the upcoming January transfer window.
