Deco, the sporting director of FC Barcelona, expressed his happiness about the team's partial return to playing at Spotify Camp Nou in front of 45,000 spectators, emphasizing in his statements that the most important thing is winning and securing the three points.

Deco said: "The open training was enjoyable, but the match is something else; it has a different dimension. We are happy to be back here; it's special, even for the coach who has never been here before. But the most important thing is to win the three points. The stadium has become even more impressive than it was before."

Deco spoke about the players who will be playing their first match at Camp Nou, affirming: "These players have extensive experience at the highest level, and although the stadium makes a strong impression, once the match starts, they will be fully focused. We must also thank the fans who supported us in Montjuïc, where we won the league title."

Regarding the recent controversy with the Spanish national team over Lamine Yamal, Deco clarified: "There is no problem at all. Barcelona needs the national team, and the national team needs Barcelona. I spoke with Karanka, and the communication between us is good; perhaps the message just didn't get through at the right moment."

Regarding the club's attempts to sign Nico Williams, Deco said: "These things happen in football. It has been discussed a lot and we have explained it. When you have important players, other clubs show interest, and this also happens with Athletic Bilbao. We have done nothing illegal, and agents are just doing their job as well."

Regarding the possibility of signing a defender after Iñigo Martínez's departure, Deco explained: "Iñigo helped us a lot. It's not that we miss him, but so far we are not considering signing any new players. We are happy with the current squad and want the injured players to return so that we have a more competitive lineup."

Deco emphasized that winning against Athletic will give Barcelona a chance to put pressure on Real Madrid: "We have suffered many injuries at the start of the season, but we are fighting, and we are only three points behind Madrid. Madrid has strengthened its squad and has a new coach, as does Atletico. The competition is tougher, but the important thing is for us to be in our best form."

The sporting director concluded his speech by recalling his memories at Barcelona: "My time as a player at Barcelona was amazing. We won important titles and played in major matches. We came after years without titles, and that leaves a significant impact."
