Laporta: Optimistic That Barcelona vs. Eintracht Match Will Take Place at Spotify Camp Nou
Barcelona club president Joan Laporta expressed optimism about the possibility of the team playing their Champions League match against Eintracht Frankfurt on December 9 at the Spotify Camp Nou, confirming that the club is working to meet all the requirements set by UEFA.
Laporta said in his statements on RAC1 radio: "Yes, we will soon receive a decision from UEFA. We are preparing everything necessary to comply with their requirements. In this match, there will also be seats for the team's fans, which is not mandatory in the Spanish league but is required by UEFA. We are working on this to confirm the possibility of playing the match against Eintracht at Spotify Camp Nou."
The club president added: "If the allocated number of Eintracht fans is not available, it won't be possible, but I am optimistic and expect that we will be able to play the match in our stadium."
According to Laporta's statements, Barcelona continues to accelerate the completion of the necessary work to ensure the stadium is ready in accordance with UEFA standards before the scheduled date of the European match.
