Wydad Athletic Club announced today, Thursday, the date for the presentation of its new star, Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech, following his official signing with the team on a contract that extends for a season and a half.

The red club clarified in an official statement that the presentation ceremony for Ziyech will take place next Sunday at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca, just before the anticipated match against Ittihad Tanger.

The Wydad statement read: "This event comes as part of welcoming one of the most prominent stars of national football to the ranks of the red team, in a festive atmosphere befitting the name of the club, its history, and its illustrious fans."

The match between Wydad Athletic Club and Ittihad Tanger is scheduled to kick off at 8:00 PM (20:00 GMT +1), as part of the seventh round of the Inwi Professional League.

A large crowd is expected to attend Ziyech's presentation, in a unique event that reflects the return of one of the most prominent stars of Moroccan football to the national stadiums after a long experience in Europe.
