The Absence of Two Real Madrid Players from the Last Training Session Before the Clasico
Real Madrid has completed its preparations for the highly anticipated Clasico match against Barcelona, scheduled to take place tomorrow, Sunday, at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, as part of the tenth round of the Spanish league.
The Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" reported that the team's last training session in Valdebebas saw the absence of both Antonio Rudiger and David Alaba from the group training due to injury issues.
On the other hand, Dani Carvajal, Alexander Arnold, Dani Ceballos, and Hausen participated in the training, and they are expected to be ready under coach Xabi Alonso to face Barcelona, although there is no confirmation about their potential starting positions.
The newspaper indicated that young defender Hausen is the closest to appearing in the starting lineup, especially given the limited defensive options available to the coach, as he only has Militao and Asensio as available defenders.
Mundo Deportivo added that the right-back position will be crucial in shaping the lineup, as it depends on Alonso's choice between Carvajal or Arnold, which may affect Valverde's positioning between midfield or the right wing, while Mastantuno, Camavinga, and Ibrahim Diaz compete for a spot in midfield.
The newspaper highlighted details of the training session published on Real Madrid's official website, noting that the players began the session by watching video clips and engaging in physical motivation in the gym before moving to the field to perform warm-up exercises, passing, and pressing drills, followed by small-sided games, and concluding the training with shooting drills and finishing exercises.
