Alvaro Carreras, defender of Real Madrid, spoke in an interview with the club's official website, on the sidelines of the Clasico on Sunday against Barcelona, in the tenth round of La Liga.

The young defender said: "We are very excited. We are already thinking about the match on Sunday; it is a beautiful and important match, especially since it is at home and in front of our fans. We know it will be tough, but it is a match we are all looking forward to."

The young player added: "The Clasico is the match that every child dreams of playing one day. Playing at the Bernabeu makes it even more special."

He also recalled his first visit to the Bernabeu stadium when he was a student in Galicia, saying: "It was a year-end trip with the school. I didn't tell anyone that I would join Real Madrid that same summer. I remember that visit well; it was a very special moment for me. And now I live this dream every day."

Carreras concluded his talk with a message to the fans: "We need everyone's support. We always feel their backing, and we will all fight to achieve victory on Sunday."
