Mourinho Shocks Asensio, Requests Left Back Signing

Press reports have revealed that Portuguese coach José Mourinho has already begun assessing the future of some players at Real Madrid, as part of the new project led by the Portuguese coach at the royal club.

According to sources, Mourinho does not consider the young Spanish defender Raúl Asensio in his plans for the next season, as he believes he will not be part of his tactical plans for the first team, and he would be happy with his departure this summer.

The reports also indicated that the Portuguese coach requested the signing of a new left-back after receiving negative feedback from Álvaro Arbeloa regarding the Spaniard Álvaro Careras, in addition to his lack of full confidence in the current options for this position.

These developments come after Real Madrid announced the official appointment of Mourinho until the summer of 2029, at a time when the club is working on strengthening its ranks with several deals, most notably the signing of defender Ibrahima Konaté and full-back Denzel Dumfries, in addition to being close to acquiring Portuguese player Bernardo Silva.
