Amid Barcelona's Interest.. Brighton Makes an Offer to Sign Luka Vuskovic

Brighton & Hove Albion has made an official offer of 35 million euros to sign young Croatian defender Luka Vuskovic, whom Barcelona continues to monitor as part of their long-term plans to strengthen their defense.

According to journalist David Ornstein, Brighton moved early in the transfer market and made an offer to sign the 19-year-old player, amid interest from several European clubs in his services.

Vuskovic is considered one of the most prominent young defenders in Europe, with a market value estimated at around 60 million euros, which makes Brighton's offer lower than his estimated market value.

Barcelona had shown significant interest in signing the player due to his suitability for coach Hans Flick's requirements in the center-back position, as part of the team's future project.

The player is being monitored by several other clubs, while his current club, Tottenham, is still reviewing the offers made to him before making a final decision about his future.

Vuskovic's brilliance comes after his loan period to Hamburg, where he delivered strong defensive performances, in addition to scoring 6 goals in the German league, which boosted his value in the European transfer market.
