According to what was published by journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Ferran Torres' name is strongly considered within Paris Saint-Germain as a potential option to strengthen the attack, in case Barcola leaves during the transfer period.

It is noted that Ferran Torres has previously worked under coach Luis Enrique with the Spanish national team, which provides the coaching staff at Paris Saint-Germain with a good understanding of his technical abilities.
