Barcelona received another shock after their heavy defeat against Sevilla with a score of 4-1, in the eighth round of La Liga, following a potential injury to their English star Marcus Rashford.

The Spanish newspaper "Marca" reported that Rashford ended the match receiving treatment from the medical staff on the pitch of the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, after feeling severe pain in his foot and falling to the ground in agony.

Rashford scored Barcelona's only goal in the match towards the end of the first half, after a precise pass from Pedri, giving his team a temporary hope of returning to the game.

The player had recently been called up to his national team's roster for the upcoming international break, but his participation is now in doubt pending an assessment of his medical condition.

If Rashford's injury is confirmed, Barcelona's suffering will increase due to the growing number of injured players in their ranks, as the list of absentees already includes Ter Stegen, Gavi, Fermín López, Raphinha, Juan García, and Lamine Yamal.
