Journalist Xavi Miguel revealed details of the conversation that took place between young Barcelona star Lamine Yamal and Spain's national team coach Luis de la Fuente before announcing La Roja's squad for the upcoming international break.

According to the leak, Yamal called de la Fuente on Thursday, one day before the announcement of the squad, and informed him that he was experiencing pain in the groin area and needed rest to avoid worsening the injury.

However, the Spanish coach's response was clear and firm: "If you are able to play with your club, you are able to play with us."

Based on this, de la Fuente decided to call up Yamal on Friday to the national team list in preparation for the international break.
