Polish striker Robert Lewandowski praised his team's performance after Barcelona's 3-1 victory over Real Oviedo in the sixth round of La Liga, confirming that the start was difficult but he is happy with the way the team's performance has developed later.

Lewandowski said: "At the beginning, it was indeed difficult; it was a team I personally loved for its good style of play. In the first half, we faced problems in finishing attacks and scoring, but in the second half, we played faster and found more spaces. The win was important for us."

The player added: "Every three days we have a match, so we must control every minute and know how to distribute effort among the players. If we win, we can say we did things right."

Regarding his physical condition after the injury he suffered at the end of the preparation period, Lewandowski added: "At the end of the preparation period, I suffered an injury, and the start of the season was harder, and I need more time to regain my pace. I have patience, and there is no rush; the season is very long, and I always want to play when I am at my best. I feel good, and it is also important for the team to have all players available."

It is worth mentioning that Barcelona turned around a first-half deficit against Real Oviedo to win 3-1, with goals scored by Eric Garcia, Robert Lewandowski, and Ronald Araujo, continuing the team's pursuit of the La Liga top spot with 16 points.
