Hossam Ashour, the former Al-Ahly star, stated in radio comments that he is currently trying to convince Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the president of Al-Ahly, of his worthiness to return to work at the club.

Ashour revealed through "On Sport FM" radio about his steps in his coaching career, where he successfully obtained the B and C licenses and is currently working on obtaining the A license.

The former Al-Ahly star commented on the performance of Malian player Aliou Dieng, stating that the player's problem lies in his way of thinking, pointing out that Dieng thinks when he receives the ball, not before he receives it.

On another note, Al-Ahly succeeded in winning against Pharco with a resounding score of (4-1) in a match held last Friday evening as part of the second round of the Egyptian Premier League.
