The website "Football Italia" revealed that Manchester United has sent scouts to observe the performance of young Fiorentina defender Pietro Comuzzo during his last match against Nottingham Forest, thus joining clubs such as Bournemouth, Brighton, and Sunderland that are interested in signing him.

Comuzzo is 20 years old and had an impressive season in 2024/2025, participating in 44 matches with Fiorentina across all competitions, after having played only 6 professional matches prior to the last season.

The player received his first call-up to the Italian national team in November last year to participate in the UEFA Nations League matches, but he did not play in the encounters.

Last January, Napoli made a €30 million offer to sign Comuzzo, and the player was ready to move, but the president of Fiorentina rejected the offer, keeping the player at the club until now.
