Valencia Announces Renewal for Its Star
Saturday 09-08-2025
The Spanish club Valencia officially announced today the renewal of young midfielder Javi Guerra's contract until the summer of 2029, in a move aimed at securing the future of one of the team's most prominent talents in recent years, despite interest from several major European clubs in his services during the last transfer window.

Javi Guerra, born on May 13, 2003, in Valencia, is one of the standout players for the bats team, having joined the club in 2019 from Villarreal. The player made his first appearance with the first team in April 2023 and quickly caught attention with his high technical abilities and strong presence in midfield, becoming a key element in the lineup.

Media reports had linked the player with moves to major European clubs, including Italian giants AC Milan, Atletico Madrid, and various English clubs, but Valencia's management insisted on keeping him, eventually succeeding in persuading him to extend his contract for an additional five seasons.

With this renewal, Valencia continues its strategy of retaining the young pillars of the team in an attempt to regain its luster and compete for top positions in La Liga.
