Italian media reports have revealed new developments regarding the future of Dutch player Denzel Dumfries, the right-back for Inter Milan, during the ongoing summer transfer window, amidst news linking him to a move to Barcelona.

Dumfries' contract with Inter Milan is still valid until June 30, 2028, and it includes a release clause of 25 million euros that expires on July 31, which has raised speculations about his potential departure this summer.

Reliable Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that there are currently no official offers or tangible movements from Barcelona to sign Dumfries, explaining that the player has been offered to the Catalan club by his agents.

Romano stated that Barcelona's management is currently focused on renewing the contract of French player Jules Koundé, following his impressive performance in the right-back position under coach Hans Flick.

It is worth mentioning that Koundé's contract with Barcelona extends until June 30, 2027, while Dumfries awaits to finalize his fate with Inter Milan in the coming days.
