Richard Rios Rejects Zenit Offer and Sticks to Move to Roma
The reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed via his official account on the platform 'X' that the Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg made an official offer today worth 30 million euros to sign Brazilian midfielder Richard Rios.
According to Romano, Rios rejected the offer from Zenit, despite the high financial value, preferring to move to Italian club Roma during the ongoing summer transfer window.
Romano confirmed that Rios has already given his approval to move to Roma, but negotiations between the Italian club and Palmeiras have not yet reached an agreement, as Roma's offer is 24 million euros plus incentives, while the Brazilian club insists on receiving 30 million euros.
Romano also pointed out that Portuguese club Benfica has entered the negotiations, as they contacted the player's camp to understand his position on joining the team in the upcoming period.
