Bisacani ahead of Roma clash: We respect Gasperini and must exploit their weaknesses
Fabio Pisacane, the head coach of Cagliari, has confirmed that his team is preparing for a tough match against AS Roma tomorrow in Serie A, emphasizing the need to exploit the opponent's weaknesses and maintain focus throughout the match.
Bissaka said about the injuries and absences: "Winks will not be available, nor will Velitci and Idrissi, while Trippier will be present against AS Roma, and the rest of the players are ready." He added that Winks is suffering from lower back pain, explaining: "From a technical standpoint, we lose a lot in his absence, as he has useful qualities for our requirements, but we should not rely solely on him; we must appreciate the capabilities of the other players."
Cagliari's coach spoke about their opponent led by Gian Piero Gasperini, stating: "Gasperini is a coach who gives his teams a clear identity, and his team never gives up; he is an exceptional coach who provides extraordinary things. However, there are no perfect teams, and we must exploit their weaknesses; they leave spaces behind them, but they have physical and aerial abilities that help them correct mistakes."
Regarding the recent decline in results, Bissakani explained that his team needs to turn disappointments into collective motivation, stressing that performance cannot be evaluated by results alone. He said: "We did not become a cosmic nothingness overnight, nor did we collect 13 points by mere chance. We need to analyze the matches clearly, understand the moments when we lose focus, and turn disappointments into collective joy." He also praised the support of the fans, emphasizing the necessity of regaining the fighting spirit and showcasing the team's strengths against AS Roma.
