The Al-Ahly Club announced, on Sunday evening, its official position regarding the offer from the Saudi Al-Akhudud Club to contract with Imam Ashour, the team's midfielder, during the ongoing summer transfer period.

Al-Ahly clarified in its statement that it sent an official letter to Al-Akhudud Club inquiring about the financial compensation offered for purchasing the remaining duration of Imam Ashour's contract.

Al-Ahly's statement came in response to a previous letter from the Saudi club expressing its desire to sign the player.

Al-Ahly confirmed that it has not yet received any response from Al-Akhudud regarding the financial offer submitted.

Reports indicate that Al-Ahly's management intends to amend Imam Ashour's contract financially and extend its duration in the upcoming period, considering him one of the key pillars within the team.
