The German coach Hans Flick, the head coach of FC Barcelona, has started preparations for the new season with strict decisions as players return from their summer vacation.

Barcelona's stars underwent the usual medical examinations today ahead of the season, in preparation for the start of group training later, in an atmosphere where Flick aims to restore seriousness and discipline within the team, similar to last season which saw Barca crowned with the domestic treble: the league, the cup, and the Spanish Super Cup.

The Spanish newspaper "AS" reported that Flick has decided to have the players undergo seven consecutive training days without any rest, including three days with two training sessions each day, bringing the total sessions to 10 during the first week.

Flick aims to quickly raise the team's physical readiness with this intensive program, following a long break since the end of last season.
