The English club Crystal Palace announced on its official website the signing of Croatian player Borna Sosa from Ajax Amsterdam, with a contract that extends until June 2028.

Sosa was born in Zagreb and rose to prominence with Dinamo in his hometown, where he achieved the domestic double in 2016. He then moved to Stuttgart in the German league in 2018, delivering impressive performances thanks to his defensive and offensive abilities, recording 35 assists and 5 goals in 115 matches, including 10 assists in the 2020/2021 season.

He joined Ajax in September 2023 and participated in 25 domestic and European matches, before spending last season on loan at Torino in the Italian league, where he played 20 matches.

On the international stage, Sosa has played 26 matches with the Croatian national team over the past four years, scoring two goals and was one of his country's standout players who contributed to their third-place finish in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
