The French club Marseille announced today, Wednesday, that it has signed Argentine defender Facundo Medina from Lens on loan with an option to buy.
Medina is 26 years old and has previously represented the Argentina national team in 7 international matches. His move to Marseille comes after five seasons with Lens, during which he played 165 matches and scored 8 goals.
Medina will form an Argentine defensive duo with compatriot Leonardo Balerdi at the heart of the southern team's defense, which is looking to strengthen its squad in preparation for the new season.
