Juan Garcia: Moving to Barcelona is a difficult step, but I am proud of the decision
Juan Garcia, the new goalkeeper of Barcelona, expressed his great happiness after officially joining the Catalan team, confirming that taking this step was not easy considering his previous situation with Espanyol.
Garcia said in his statements: "Until the end of the season, I was completely focused on my previous team because we were fighting to achieve an important goal. I didn't want to distract myself or be affected by anything external. It was a time filled with mixed emotions and difficult decisions."
The Spanish goalkeeper added: "I consulted a lot with myself, my family, and those close to me, but in the end, I was completely convinced that this is the step I need to take. I am very happy and proud to be part of this great project. I know that Barcelona is one of the best clubs in the world right now, and this club represents my home."
Garcia continued: "I feel that I will integrate quickly with the team, especially since it is a young group, and this will help me a lot in adapting. I already know some players and I am eagerly looking forward to my first day in the sports city, to put on the boots and gloves and get to work. If dreams allow me, I hope to achieve many titles and successes here."
He concluded his statements by saying: "Competition is always present, and this is a healthy thing. There is a special relationship among goalkeepers, and we help each other to become better. Now the decision is in the hands of the coach, and I am ready to give my all and hope to contribute as much as possible to the team."
