Newcastle Searches for Offensive Alternatives After Rejection of Ilanga Offer
Tuesday 24-06-2025
Sky Sports reported that Newcastle United has begun to study new offensive alternatives after their first offer to acquire Swedish player Anthony Elanga, the Nottingham Forest winger, was rejected.

Newcastle had made an initial offer of £45 million, but Nottingham's management rejected it, as they value the player at around £60 million and do not seem ready to part with him at this time.

Despite the rejection, Newcastle is still keeping the option to make a second offer, but at the same time, they have started to explore other options to bolster their attacking wing.

The list of alternative names includes Johan Bakayoko from PSV Eindhoven, Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund, and Mohammed Kudus from West Ham, as the club seeks to finalize a strong attacking deal before the start of the new season.
