Newcastle eyeing Ivan Toney signing in January

Connor has revealed, via his account on the platform 'X', that the English club is monitoring the international striker's situation and assessing the chances of signing him, as part of its potential moves to strengthen the front line.

The journalist pointed out that Matthias Jaissle has placed Ivan Toney among his priorities to bolster the attack, expressing his desire to collaborate again with the player after their previous experience together at Al Ahly FC.

Meanwhile, Ivan Toney continues to deliver impressive scoring levels while wearing the Al Ahly FC shirt, having taken the lead in the Saudi Pro League top scorers chart with 13 goals.

The English forward increased his goal tally by scoring two goals during the match against Al Khaleej, which ended with Al Ahly FC winning by four goals to one, in the Saudi Pro League.

With Ivan Toney's continued brilliance in front of goal, his position at the top of the scoring charts coincides with circulating news about Newcastle's interest in his services in the winter transfer market, with no confirmation of any agreement completed so far.

Journalist Ikram Konur has revealed that Englishman Ivan Toney, the striker of Al Ahly FC, is linked with interests from Newcastle United, who are studying the possibility of signing him during the upcoming winter transfer window in January.
