Dardir: Al Ahly is the team that has lost the most in the Club World Cup
Sports critic Amr Dardir shared a controversial post on Facebook.
Dardir said: "A piece of information before the start of the Club World Cup: Al Ahly is the club with the most participations in the Club World Cup from Africa, but it also holds the record for the most losses in the history of the tournament (14 losses)."
He continued: "Al Ahly is the team that has conceded the most goals in the history of the tournament, and recorded the largest loss for an African team in the World Cup with a score of 5-1 against Monterrey."
The Reds are preparing to face Inter Miami early Sunday in the opening match of the 2025 Club World Cup.
